It all started with an inventory of the materials that were to be used, the room was fragmented in three parts, each one representing the imaginary landscape of one person.
Each installation changed while preparing and shooting the videos (one per week)
And the space changed even more during the interventions in collaboration with Marianne Villière and Planet Dance Ensemble
Intervention 1 (Letter to oneself)
People were invited to write a letter to themselves which they were only allowed to open in several years. They used the exhibition’s setting to sit down and reflect on their life. The space was filled with a very special energy, everybody started whispering inside.

The exhibition was the starting point to make interventions in the nearby market, introduce strange situations in the everyday life of the town. Documentation was made with selfie-sticks in order to disguise the documentalist.
Intervention 3 (charismatic aleatory)
After three weeks all the videos were shot and the exhibition wouldn’t move anymore if it wasn’t for Marianne’s intervention where I gave her the freedom to move everything and to use the space as a playground for one day (she proposed a soundtrack, baked a cake, played with the flour, proposed tea …), the second day we rearranged to whole setting together to create a common narrative. As we were working a violon player came by and asked to play in the room for a certain time.
Intervention 4 (collective inventory)
For the last intervention, we invited the public to come and help deconstruct the exhibition. Fo one day, visitor could destroy, rearrange, and clean up the space. A whole new setting was created and stayed for the last three days, as well as some extracts of the videos I had filmed.
